Looks like it feel fantastic. I sure do miss my time in the Upper Midwest. Meanwhile, in North Carolina, the land of heat, humidity and the world's worst drivers, it is currently 88 degrees.

I, for one, am not quite ready for it to turn that cold yet. My beans were planted late and need another couple weeks yet. Supposed to be be 30 at the cabin tonight....hopefully not. I would have also liked to see less of a drop, to keep the deer in their same pattern. Had a good buck patterned, but it may be for naught. Guess I'll find out Saturday night!

I'm so ready to just go out and climb a tree and attempt to kill something.

Last year's bucks are nothing but distant memories and cobweb collectors, fellas. The slate is wiped as clean as a baby's ass. Nothing you've done in the past matters. Nobody is going to hold your hand. No gifts. No gimmes. No handouts.

    It's almost gametime...

I guarantee the 1st time I sit "the stand" from last year that will be all I can think about. Going to relive that moment 100 times in the 1st hour until something shows up to get my attention :D
