I'm looking into some cold weather camo... Predator Fleece at that, Just wondering what pattern wold best be suited for Cold weather. I will be ground hunting and treestand hunting... mostly in a treestand though. I'm really leaning toward Brown Deception, but only because I like the looks of it... :D Hence my questioning.
Both are great, I have cloths in fall grey and a heater body suite in Brown deception, both work great. Cant go wrong with either! Fall grey is a little more open pattern.
The Predator fleece is real nice. I was just using it in Wisco, temps in the low 30's. Fall gray all the way!
I like the grey. I've always thought that most camo's lacked grey colors for coverage high up in the tree stand.
I've used brown deception for the past 4-5 years now. Having said that, I picked up some fall grey this year and have been wearing it since opening day. Thinking I will stick with the fall grey from here on out. You really can't go wrong with either though.
This is my first year using predator camo and I went with the fall gray and I love it. The fleece jacket is very warm and seems like very good quality. Just the other day I had a group of six doe's look right at me and it was like I wasn't even there.
I wear Fall Gray year all season for my whitetail hunting. Let me tell you something, you are going to love the fleece outfit. I picked one up this off season, and it definitly was one of the best buys I have made in clothing for hunting.
I wear Fall Brown, Fall Grey and Brown Deception and honestly, you simply can't go wrong with any of them. If you can find a jacket/pants that you like, just get any of it in any of the patterns. Predator is the best out there IMO.
Fall Gray. I used to wear nothing but predator camo. Although it became tough to get around here, so I switched to Vertigo this season. It's another very good camo that breaks up your outline extremely well.
