Well went to check on the Shot Plot today briefly and hung a stand that I will hunt mid November in NY. This plot is our acre plot. Now I thought they would hit this stuff after a frost, but they are using it now..not sure as to why other than maybe some of other growth ???? Anyone have experience with these late planted plots (Shot Plot or similar) ??

Thought I would post a picture of the Shot Plot as of this morning. Can't believe how well it has come in...and of course this trail has come from nowhere....

I plant late plots every year and I always plant a good Brassica mix. I use my own mix which has the same plants as Shot Plot plus several more, but Shot Plot is good stuff. I used to recomend it to others all the time until people started asking me to sell them my blend, but when I'm out I still tell people to just buy Shot Plot (and maybe mix in a little Biologic Maximum or Biologic Brassica additive). Around here I plant the end of July to the middle of August. A late July planting will have them eating it by mid August.

By the way, nice field prep and food plots. I look forward to seeing some of the deer you harvest because of those plots. Hopefully a Booner.:)

Looks great! I really need to step it up next year, I let me plots sort of go by the wayside this year. You should have plenty of activity between those plots.

I have been really happy and I would think it should yield some good results during and well after the season.

Food Plots to deer hunting are a great pass time. I enjoyed the year watching the progress. I just want to get some good footage of deer with their new found buffet.:D
