yeah I am not sure about the whisker rest messing up my fletchings either the carbon express arrows I was shooting were hand me downs do the plastic vanes get brittle over time? also they were tearing from back to front instead of front to back which I felt was odd also
I had the same problem until I switched to Fusion vanes. Although I am considering trying a fall away this spring...
