    I don't get the question.

Are you asking if I'd shoot him?

Doesn't appear to be putting anybody in immediate danger to justify killing him.

Is bear meat not any good? I have talked to a few people in the past and none of them say they would eat bear meat. Why is this?

I wasn't looking at it as putting people in danger just meat in the freezer.

I guess if somebody has a bear tag to cover and choose to use it in this manner that is their choice.

Bear meat is very edible. You just have to treat it like pork and cook it very well. Bear can have trichinosis and should be prepared to ensure its neurtralized. To each his own. Some people like it and some don't but just like anything it's how you care for and handel the meat that makes the difference.

No, I would not shoot him. (and that's coming from a guy that more or less shot a deer out of his driveway :tu:)

Yes, you can eat bear. Like copper said, it has to be thoroughly cooked. I remember hearing a statistic last year that something like 3 or 5% of wild game consumed is bear, and something like 85% of cases of trichinosis are from bear meat.

(don't quote me on those exact numbers :busted:)

Wouldn't shoot. But i did like how the bear showed how he felt about being disturbed form his slumber at the end.;)
