Even though I'm on your team and I should probably encourage you to try and kill a deer........I'm saying fishing and wolf hunting sounds like a fun plan to me

I'm thinking he could easily break 180" next year....and I would love to see him then and have the story to go with it. :)

You won't get any heat bro.....not from me. Honestly, the reason I would stay home would not be to work, it would be to spend time with them.

The deal here though.....even before Z was born Jill was planning on me being gone next week for 4 days anyways. Its not like this is something that has suddenly come up and I'm bailing out on our new born.

My situation is also a little different, because Jill and I are self employed, we are together year round. Its not like I have a job I go to everyday and never see them. Today, I've been doing a bunch of work on the computer getting ready for the show season......I've stopped 3 times to feed Z when she wakes up and change diapers. Like I said, we're together all the time.

Believe me, if Jill even gave the slightest inkling that she wanted me to stay home, I would. :)

This might be just common sense talking... but..

...wait til ya hear from ole' Miller. If he says the deer are their... and moving.. go hunt them.

If ole' Miller says they gone.. then go north.

It's that time of the year.. if you ain't got the preferred food.. the deer are a mile away on it.

Wolf. Get to move around and call. That to me is more fun hunting than treestand hunting. I love hunting from the ground. Plus, a wolf coat has got to be fantastic right now, or at least I would think.
