I actually like Facebook. Like Vito said keep it to the hunters and fishermen.

It is an unbelievable tool for advertising :tu:

Heck, a lot of my 'friends' on facebook, I've never met and never will.. but we're still 'friends'. LMAO.
I guess I don't see what the big deal is about FB. I don't take it seriously and I sure don't get mad at people who post inane things or game requests or whatever. I ignore what doesn't interest me and read the stuff that does. I even thought my assassination warning was entertaining. :p I have a bunch of 'friends' in other countries and it's neat to see what they're hunting.

I think I've only unfriended a couple of dudes. One because he was posting anti-hunting stuff, another because he kept posting tasteless naked women photos with rude captions and another because he was some sort of violent radical. That's it.

I do think that folks who use a picture of themselves half-naked in the bathroom mirror as their profile picture have some issues tho'. :D

Facebook is wonderful tool if used correctly. It's just a shame that most people are too dumb or too old to understand how to use it properly.

A few of you guys beat me to it. Facebook has become more than just a social website. It is now about news, advertising and events. If you utilize it properly it can be great and worth the few minutes a day.

Never been on face book, not sure I ever will be. I've made some really good friends on here, BH.com, which is good enough for me.

It can be customized so that you do not have to see or read anything that you might find annoying. It's quite simple. Someone posts annoying status updates constantly? Hide them. Someone posts annoying crap on my wall? Block them. Someone wants to "friend" me that I do not know? I deny it.
