I use carbon powder and just rub it on head and face and such....wife always says she prays I don't use a drive through on my way home because someone's liable to think I'm a racist in blackface....
Here in the south I go black face. Lol seriously I used a net. We have bugs damn near year round. Help stop from getting eaten alive.

I prefer to wear a camo neck gaitor and a hat, no facepaint if possible. I wore paint last year none this year, with hat and gaitor it breaks up the shape of and shadows my face enough that i feel confident. I do not pull gaitor up to nose as that is horribly uncomfortable and messes with my anchor point

I use both depending on the situation. If its extremely cold, I use a facemask. If the weather is just cool/cold and enjoyable, I use face paint.
