Hey guys I have a question about F.O.C. is it good to have a higher F.O.C. then not and what is a good F.O.C % I think mine is about 12% now. And this hunting season I think I'm going to go with Easton bloodlines 400 cut to 27 or 27.5 and I'm going to turn my weight up to 65-67 lbs. Any thoughts and help on this on what you guys think about it or a arrow that will work good at that sent up. Thanks guys

I'll start off with saying 400 spine is too light for 67 pounds. 12% is good but I personally like to be over 15%. Try going with 340 spine bloodline and then brass inserts with a 125 grain head cut to 26.5

Depending on the bow you might sneak buy with .400 at about 26" 26.5 providing you don't put a lot of weight up front. So that negates you getting any kind of decent FOC.

You options are too lower your draw weight or move up it spine.

Why not just get light weight .340's shafts and cut them to 27" use 50 grain inserts and 125 heads..... Then you can keep your weight at 65-67

That sounds good. I'm not 100% on arrow or arrow spine yet, just throwing it out there see what you would say, the only that is 100% is that I want to move my weight up

Yes you can easily get away with a 26.5 inch shaft

Just move the rest back a bit and it would fit without a problem
