Trespassers should have no season and no limit...and any legal hunting weapon should be lawful to use to bag them.
Here in mo. we have a clean streams act which prohibits driving a motorized vehicle in a stream bed even on my own ground and is mostly enforced by the dnr/gw but a sheriff can also enforce, by this means they can write a ticket and they dont need owners hand written signature to prosecute as they do in a trespassing case. They both can write tress passing tickets but it seems like both are so under staffed anymore they dont have the time or resources to do there job.But i will tell you if i dont sign the tresspass notice they wont write the ticket because i would have to show up in court, which i will and have in the past. My gw told me he was on the river checking fishing lic and violation's all weekend and called me today and even stopped by this eve. I will say he was not all that impressed with my clay bird target range but he could see how it might discourage people from trespassing. He told me he is going to follow up with the next door neighbor tomorrow. I am hoping for a alien crop circle deal for revenge hell if they dont catch them in the act it's ok right?
There's some real good advice in this thread, and some real bad advice too. Sifting through it, I hope you don't do something that put you or your future in danger. Yeah, busting heads sounds cool, but rarely solves much in today's world.
i just would like to see our elected officials do thier damn jobs for once! Ben/Pa is probably right dont listen to me i'm trying to quit smoking and i'm on edge ha-ha I just hate the fact that some folks think they can push folks and they know the law isnt going to do anything so they keep pushing til you break. are they younguns or grown ass folks?
Next time they do it, call 911 and tell them you are going to shoot trespassers. Then hold them until the cops get there......and they will. Get law enforcement to get names, then go get warrart for tresspassing. That should do the trick.
