My buddy brought up his Storm game cam and all we are getting is a black screen. New batteries, freshly formatted 8 gig sdhc. He said the screen worked for all of about 2 minutes. Any ideas for us? I was gonna try to update the firmware but can't see the screen to do it. Thank you.
Maybe try a smaller GB SD card It is possible that a 8 GB wont work but I cant say for sure. Looks like it should take a 32 GB or smaller so that shouldn't be the issue.
I contacted the company on Tuesday, we e-mailed a lil while and the woman that was helping me had it picked up by UPS on Wednesday morning. It arrived there Friday at 10:30 am. She said if they can't fix it they will send me a new one right away. That is awesome. The camera comes with a 1 year warranty, and it is actually 14 months since the date of purchase. I told her when it was bought and she didn't seem to mind. All I can think is that my navy.mil e-mail address helped out a little.
