Just wondering what those of you who need glasses to see distance do when shooting their bow?

I need mine and find my sunglasses don't work well because I end up seeing between the lenses. So I end up wearing my regular glasses all day in the field. Kind of a pain.

Wondering if anybody else has this issue and what they do about it or if they have any other advise for shooting with glasses.

    Thanks

It is a pain. No doubt. I don't wear contacts and I need to wear glasses. The thing that has worked really well for me is getting the "Transition lenses". That way your glasses are sunglasses when they need to be and clear when the sun sets.

I got contacts so that I wouldn't have to wear glasses. I don't wear sunglasses when I hunt. I'm always afraid that they'll give off a reflection.

Instead I try to wear a hat and something on my face to reduce glare.

    Great idea Brad. Thanks

Bigstick I'm not a candidate for contacts but I know what you mean. When I wear my sunglasses I feel I must look like an alien with huge eyes.

I hated the idea of contacts... but I got them just for hunting, now I wear them all the time. My glasses would always fog up in the fall & winter, especially when the fever sets in :tu:

I have that same issue and that's a BIG problem.
I put the anti fog on my glasses and it seems to help but not cure.

I have a stigmatism so my eyeS are bad just not bad enough for laser or contacts.

Contacts for sure, they even make a bifocal which I wear. I hugged the female doc when she put them on me. I wear them for weeks at a time and never have any problems. No fogging, no rain streaking down the lenses ect..
