    Nonsense. I have deliberately made eye contact many times while hunting and filming and say there is nothing to this. Treestand or groundblind it makes no difference.

    But with over 50 years of hunting what would I know ;-)

    Have you ever noticed the LONG eyelashes deer have on those beautiful blue eyes?

    Deer eyesight isn't that good that they can see your eyes 20 feet up and 20 yards away. Lock eyes all you want.

    They can see your silhouette and your movements though!

    Avoid eye contact and just focus on where I'd shoot them.
