Has anyone had any luck with the Extinguisher Deer Call/black rack system? It looks good on tv and reviews online, but I don't know anyone that has used them. Any input is helpful. I know you can always trust tv/internet. Thanks
I've actually heard good things on the extinguisher deer call. Black rack is probably the same as any other rattling call out there.
I like the sound of the extinguisher. It's the call I bring. Wiscohunter is pretty much right about the black rack. It has a real tone to it and the deer do respond but it's not a magic trick. Gotta have the right deer in the right mood. I haven't had much luck with any rattling but I usually give it a go a few times a year. I have had little bucks respond to it and real antlers before. Yeah I have the black rack and while effectiveness is the same as any antlers, they do fit in a backpack a lot easier and you don't have brow tines poking you in the thumbs while using it.
i have never used the black rack, but i have used the extinguisher call for two years now and have had good success with it. Called in A LOT of younger bucks, but last year was able to get a nice 9 point to turn around and come to me for a kill shot with it. After that i was pretty much sold!
