I'm planning on using my iphone a lot more in the field this year, mostly for navigation (motion-x gps, trimble outdoors, etc.) but these eat up battery power fast. I know there are a lot of external battery packs and such that can be used as a backup. Anyone here have any experience with any of them, and would you use that one again or go with another one? Thanks in advance. It's almost upon us!

Go with the Mophie Juice Pack Plus. I spend a lot of time on the road where I don't have access to a charger. It's easy to put on and take off. You can find it on Amazon for a reasonable price. Great investment!
