I have been following it all day. Was on my way to work and kicked the police scanner app on my phone on to listen. It wasn't long after the shootout, but things had quieted down by then. There is no easy answer to this problem. Our country is founded on the principles of free choice and open arms. We do need to make sure immigration laws are followed, but to not allow immigration or foreign travel is absurd. I think the thing people fail to realize is evil people will continue to do evil things, just on bigger scales now. In 1910 the evil bastard would have stabbed a few guys, raped some girl, then been shot or hung from a tree the next week, with only that town knowing about it. Is that what what I said? I said seal our boarders, that means no illegals if we can help it. That also means making sure that anyone that immigrates to this country is completely vetted.....Maybe IF that happened these POS wouldn't have set a bomb down next to an 8 year old boy. Islam is not a race, its a religion and the problem we have is with a radical segment of them that have been doing a good job killing us. Whats doesn't go over great when I have look and think about my friends killed by these *******s on 9/11. I see their wifes and children at BBQ's and holiday parties and know they are are without their fathers and husbands. Why because we are let people into this country who want to kill us. Im not a praying man, but the officers around all this are high in my thoughts and worries. They are in so much danger and non of them deserve any harm. No way in the world they get paid enough for this and no way their families deserve the horror of knowing their loved ones are in harms way. I hope this ends well and ends soon.
