Did anyone just watch the press conference. Couldn't understand if he said his affiliation or not but someone within the press side of it was asking about conspiracy. First asked if it was some sort of falsification by homeland security to take handguns from the street. Said people were telling others to remain calm before the explosions went off. He tried to blurt it out several times during the taking questions part of it. Seemed like it was always directed at Gov. Patrick That's the first time I've seen such conspiracy BS that quick. First thing I thought of was Howard Stern type stuff but couldn't imagine that being the case.
Yeah, I have no clue what it was about. I thought they removed him after the first outburst but he kept blurting out several times throughout. Couldn't tell if at the beginning he states who he was or not. But the governor actually listened to tw question, answered with an emphatic no and he went mostly ignored the rest of the conference but he could clearly be heard.
Listening the media ask the head surgeon these questions is unreal. Those reporters should be stopped. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk www.skyangler.com
This reminded me of 9/11. I know theyre worlds apart, but sad all the same. Doesn't make me feel as safe in America. I hope they find whoever they did this and find the people who support the person who setup the bombs. If its a terrorist nation or group, I hope we go after them. No way anyone should be able to do this to us and get away with it.
Speaking of conspiracy, several left leaning pundits have already thrown US right wing extremist groups as the group responsible. Pretty sad that they cannot even wait for facts to emerge before releasing reports.
We have sure learned how to kill each other good as a human race.......real fine quality. Here is something else to keep in mind as we all grieve the deaths/injuries of those involved. There were 51 murders in Boston in 2012. 51 murders. I know it is not as dramatic as bombs going off, but death, and murder is always there. Someone setting off a bomb should not surprise us if we are willing to kill each other at such a high rate. Like I said before, we are real good at killing one another.
I hear what your saying, although 50 murders seems like child's play when you think about Chicago, over 500 murders in 2012
True. But with the information super highway always crammed with traffic everyone's perceptions of things are distorted (in no way am I downplaying these tragic events). Any little thing that happens anywhere, is available to anyone, at almost anytime, instantaneously. Every media outlet seems to have a need to have the latest and greatest info (before its even confirmed or viable) to feed the masses. So things get distorted. Its truly scary IMO.
People just love to use any type of motivation and justification to kill others....religion, national pride, ethnic pride. People just like to kill. When you really think about it, we are darn lucky some super lunatic hasn't emerged where he flies a drone plane/ drives a bus full of crap explosives into a major city (Well McVeigh constitutes that I guess) or some other off the wall thing. It ain't that hard to think of the possibilities.
My theory is, that stuff like this happened all over America 10-15-30 years ago, and unless it was local, we didnt hear about it. World news didnt broadcast such things as movie theater hold ups...pretty soon world news is gonna be full of all the petty thefts and DUI lists...its sad really. Social Media multiplies the problem 10 fold. Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2
Very true. Luckily for us...terrorists suck. Or our police forces really are that good. I hope the latter is true. Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2
Agreed. But there will always be good and evil. Or the ying and yang. I'm just glad that we live currently in a time that the vast majority of good still way overwhelms the amount of evil out there and will continue to prevail. But there will always be both sides of the coin.
