Set a new PB this morning, 222.0, had a great workout doing high intensity interval training on the stair climber, 40 minutes worth! I think I was knocking on 1000 calories burned (going by the inaccurate counters on the equipment) with all the stuff I did at the gym yesterday!

My life is garbage. I am in the landfill, mining, hydrofracking industry, I am also on the board of directors of a non profit professional association tied to solid waste (garbage not poop) and recycling industry. So I travel a lot and with that comes eating dinner late and drinking with clients. I also loath the work out rooms in most hotels, so working out or exercising on the road rarely happens I don't even pretend and bring my running shoes anymore. My summer workout will be marching being the deck mower trying to keep the 5-8 acres mowed.

220.7 this morning! Seems like the weight is just falling off! I co worker talked to me about how he lost weight (~80lbs) by just drinking tons of water! This week I have been trying to get in a gallon a day (128 oz) and it has been awesome! Down 5 pounds in 2 weeks!

I grab power aid zero so there is no suger. I need to stop energy drink lol. I play d end and d tackle we have 4 more games then I'm retiring I am 33 and been playing full contact football since I was 19. I maintain my weight in the 250 260 range since I'm on the line. But I'm planning on going back to 200 220 when I played linebacker.

I discovered Zevia a little over a month ago and have grown to like the Dr. Zevia and Cherry Cola flavors. There aren't any artificial sweeteners and there's no sugar in it thus zero calories. I find it makes me want to eat less and gives me more energy without the crash and food cravings that coffee would give me. A store near me sells 3 6 packs for $10. I hope to get off caffeine altogether soon but for the time being I'm liking it.

Jim, I hear you buddy. All the crazy crap I used to do earlier on in my life is coming back to haunt me. Maybe tearing up my knees in college and not taking some of those head injuries was planned by God. I was fearless and thank God I was taken down a peg or two with injuries.

Ditto, brother, but I just performed in the 50th percentile of the 20 y/o bracket in our annual PT last week. Felt mighty studly, until the next morning lol.

I discovered something the other weekend. I did a bunch of tree work. Cutting tops out of a creek bed the loggers left behind. Split a couple chords with a maul and stacked it.

I may not be an old man yet, but I for sure ain't young as I used to be.

I don't know how you guys do all the weight lifting. I just can't seem to get there when it comes to the weights. I'm doing about 2-21/2 hour workouts and usually it's 2 hours of cardio and a half hour of weights. It seems the more cardio I do, the more I want to do. But when it comes to the weights, I'm just not that motivated. How do some of you guys split it up?

    Blessings..........Pastorjim

At 54 I'm working out regularly not so much to get big or get into mountain shape but to just not break down on the hunts. Just want to get through the hunts able to get on the game and carry the meat out with out pulling my back, straining something or needing help to finish the hunt. Just want to pull my own weight and a little more.
