Excuse me for never introducing myself. Set this account up last fall just to pick up a few tips and tricks during the season. I'm John, a bowhunter from VA. Started bowhunting this past year. Got two deer, one buck one doe, in my first year of bowhunting. It goes without saying I'm addicted. I'm lucky enough to have access to land near Shenandoah National Park, surrounded by horse farms that my friend owns where the deer are often protected and have a tendency to be much larger than your average Virginia deer.. I have yet to share those trail camera pics, but they are doozies. Several deer that must score over 130". Being new to this, we didn't particularly put a lot of time into those deer last season, but now I've learned a bit and we're watching our old friends from last year grow, and we're putting patterns on them. Super excited for the upcoming season and can't wait to get out there and prove to myself I can put down a big one. SHOOT STRAIGHT!
Welcome! I also got one buck and one doe this past season. Unfortunately the neighbor got to my buck before we did and took his rack
