This is my buddy's first year bow hunting, and we have had a tough year with warm weather and wind/rain, but we were able to get his first buck on the ground. It's not the biggest deer in the world, but a very unique double main beam rack makes it a nice trophy for a first buck! The shot was a little far back but after sticking by the book with the track job, we were able to recover him! Check it out here:
Thanks man! Taking this weekend off (first one of the season) to spend time with my wife, and then hoping to get back after it hard next week for the days I get off for Thanksgiving! Based on what I have been reading on forums we are not alone this year with the weird rut, so I am hoping it just translates into a better late season year!
Yeah since it was his first but he wasn't looking for a monster, but the uniqueness of that rack definitely made him a shooter! Thank you!
Thanks! Can't wait for Thursday morning, we are supposed to get pounded with snow tomorrow so I am hoping they will be up and moving Thursday morning and my might be able to get another one on the ground!
