I worked a trade for some stuff, and involved in the trade was a 2005 or 2006 Hoyt Ultratec XT2000, it is like brand new, guy said he bought it new, shot it about 50 times in the back yard and never hunted with it. It has a Bone Collector Apex Sight on it, I am pumped, just started shooting a compound bow weeks ago with an old York bow, and now I have this! I asked about this bow last week in the tech forum, didnt get much response, anyone know what this bow cost new? And any personal reviews on it, it seems really nice to me, but I am a newbie. Thanks
Had a cousin that used to own one until last year. He only let me shoot two arrows out of it, stopped when I outshot him (put one arrow in the bullseye, and the second arrow took the nock off the first). Pretty quiet, pretty accurate. As far as smoothness goes I thought it was comparable to me SwitchbackXT. You'll love it, just don't let some young'un tell you that you can't hunt with it because it's too long.
