Is there a honeymoon or are you going right into the woods afterwards?? For the record I got married 7/7/07 and got stuck going on the honeymoon the last week of October. My wife never saw me from Nov 1-Nov18 unless she woke up in the middle of the night:evil:

Honeymoon in Cabo until Oct 4th. Yes, I'll miss opening weekend which pretty much means I'll miss sitting in a tree sweating my nads off, swatting mosquitos, and maybe seeing a doe or two. I'm planning on saving my time and energy for when it counts this fall - the first two weeks of November. Mike and I have quite a bit of traveling/hunting to do, so I'm looking forward to it.

My old man is in charge of the bachelor party and I believe Mike will have all the details. I'll make sure he gets them to you in time. When T Zarr is throwing a bachelor party, you know it's gonna be fun. :D

Don't know yet. I don't have many free weekends between now and then for the 8+ hours of driving round trip. What about you, anything planned yet?

Sept 27th is opening day in Texas. I'll be in a tree stand somewhere north of Abilene. I'll be thinking about you that day. Congrats!

I was going to go down next weekend because there was a turkey benefit dinner or something and the whole family goes down there so I could get the wife to go with the buddies wife, then my wife got a promotion and will be working Sunday so we can't both call in sick on Sunday or it's a red flag.

I am looking at going down at the end of August, leaving on a Friday night, crashing at the house down there then scouting most of Saturday and coming back that night.

Good luck Justin. I got married at the begining of Turkey season this year. I don't think that I could sit on a beach knowing I could be in a tree. Anyhow, when you are on your way back from Cabo, I will be in that tree.
