I will be getting married.
I'm frightened for ya.
Hell, if Jill has put up with me for 8 years, you should be ok.
What gives, 2 months from today, isn't that in the middle of Bow Season????
Only if you live in WI. Here in IL we don't start til Oct 1. :D
Is there a honeymoon or are you going right into the woods afterwards?? For the record I got married 7/7/07 and got stuck going on the honeymoon the last week of October. My wife never saw me from Nov 1-Nov18 unless she woke up in the middle of the night:evil:
Honeymoon in Cabo until Oct 4th. Yes, I'll miss opening weekend which pretty much means I'll miss sitting in a tree sweating my nads off, swatting mosquitos, and maybe seeing a doe or two. I'm planning on saving my time and energy for when it counts this fall - the first two weeks of November. Mike and I have quite a bit of traveling/hunting to do, so I'm looking forward to it.
Speaking of traveling when you guys heading down to Brown to scout?
I know you will have your own guys get together before the wedding but I think all the IL boys need to thow you a little bash before the end of life as you know it!
My old man is in charge of the bachelor party and I believe Mike will have all the details. I'll make sure he gets them to you in time. When T Zarr is throwing a bachelor party, you know it's gonna be fun. :D
Don't know yet. I don't have many free weekends between now and then for the 8+ hours of driving round trip. What about you, anything planned yet?
Sept 27th is opening day in Texas. I'll be in a tree stand somewhere north of Abilene. I'll be thinking about you that day. Congrats!
I was going to go down next weekend because there was a turkey benefit dinner or something and the whole family goes down there so I could get the wife to go with the buddies wife, then my wife got a promotion and will be working Sunday so we can't both call in sick on Sunday or it's a red flag.
I am looking at going down at the end of August, leaving on a Friday night, crashing at the house down there then scouting most of Saturday and coming back that night.
You sorry mother you!!!!! No seriously getting married to my wife was the best thing to ever happen to me. I love her more everyday.
Congrats and good luck to both of you.
same here dan... 8 years this tuesday..
Justin ! good luck get her behind that camera or better yet infront of it..!
Getting married was the best choice I ever made. It couldn't be any better. Congrats to you Justin, and enjoy your -2 months!
Less than 7 weeks to go now. *gulp*
still time to back out while it doesn't cost you anything...
There is always a price to pay when a woman is scorned:evil:
Good luck Justin. I got married at the begining of Turkey season this year. I don't think that I could sit on a beach knowing I could be in a tree. Anyhow, when you are on your way back from Cabo, I will be in that tree.
