Just tested this new head...and was really impressed by it...but especially for the price. Check it out.

I bought a 3 pack of the 100s and didn't really like the look of the 25 grain collar. They fly great, come with minimal packaging and I even spoke to one of their reps. I spoke to them about the size tool to remove the blades, since none was provided and even my small, technical set wouldn't fit. He was very helpful. They claim they are trying to provide an affordable option and admitted that these heads are designed after slick tricks. They are tough and they are cut on contact. For 21 bucks, I don't think there is an equal out there. 20230904_185019.jpg 20230904_184924.jpg

I bought three packs also. They remind me of Gary’s Razor tricks but with better blade support post design. Like that there are two screws for blade retention.

My initial impression of the 25 grain collar wasn’t positive either. However the more I look at the more I can’t see where it will interfere with performance at all.

What I did think was that while the blades were plenty sharp enough to hunt they would benefit from stroping and polishing compound. They came out extremely sharp.

Yessir, I would like to sharpen mine up a bit, as soon as I get a bit to fit the screws. I run enough weight up front to decline ordering the collars, but glad to hear they seem to not impede performance.

Where did these ship from? 260 area code is in my neck of the woods but it says Nebraska on the card.

Looks like a hole puncher to me.

** edit so you don't have to listen to podcast if you don't want to
Guy is in Columbus NE, has broadheads made in Germany based on idea of the dollar shave club making cheap razors.

He doesn't pay for fancy packaging or anything to be as cheap as possible.
reading between the lines - he ships from his house out of Nebraska, says 2-3 days to get them if you live in Midwest

I placed a second order. I like these heads a lot. Going to get enough that I don’t have to worry about them not making them
Anymore. Two or three dozen should work

Appreciate your videos. It shows us what’s out there and we can see how the design holds up.
I am sold on these small frame 4 blade designs. They make a really good entrance opening.

Have you spent some time with these? Still liking them? Thinking of getting a pack.

They shoot very very well. Seems durable. I like the collar that can add 25 grains.
The only negative so far is they have a very coarse grind.
They really need to be stropped before they are used on game.

Are you using a high grit stone to take the roughness out and the polish it?

No, a leather paddle strop with green compound. 10 pulls on each side and it done, less than 5 minutes a head start to finish… I am sure a fine ceramic or diamond stone would work just as well.
Only real trick is having the correct bit to take the retention screws on…hex .09 [IMG]

Noticed that too. I did mention this site to him (actually not sure if I spoke to the owner or not) and mentioned John's review here. Glad to see it.
