New Roads, LA- Evolved Harvest®, the leader in food plots and attractants for wild game congratulates the winners of the N.A.S.H.D.A. World Shed Hunting Dog Championships held April 21[SUP]st[/SUP] and 22[SUP]nd[/SUP], 2012.

Shed has grown in recognition over the past decade, hence the establishment of the N.A.S.H.D.A. World Shed Hunting Dog Competitions. Any breed of dog can participate in the events and judging criteria consists of points for the number of shed antlers found, and delivered to hand, within a specific time limit.
The event took place in Northfield, Minnesota and was sponsored by Evolved Harvest, Purina and Kolpin Outdoors. Taking top honors in the open and amateur class was Win Mitchell with his Labrador “Dutchess”, making it the first time both honors have been won by the same dog and handler team. Runner up in the Amateur and Open class was Tiffany Lakosky with her Labrador “Tank”. The Top honor in the Junior Class was Linda Profant with her Labrador “Kyah”. Runner up in the Junior Class was Aaron Seitz with his Labrador “Digger”.
“As a company we promote ‘Getting Outside’ and this championship does just that, while supporting the industry. We are able to build brand awareness for our products as well, since the dogs are taught on sight and scent training in wooded areas as well as search and find in food plots and grasslands. We hope to continue growing and nurturing the industry in every aspect”, states Shelly Moore, Marketing Director of Synergy Brands.
