Arrows are good, bow shooting well. But, there is a noise thing. Im 99% sure it's the string stop. the string is just resting slightly on it. I can move it but does that require a retune? Geex I hope not. I have the most beautiful bullet holes I ever had...I have read before that some say it requires you to retune your bow...I aint sure about it

I’ve moved a string stop and it didn’t require a retune. I set it with a business card in between the string and stop. If you tightened the limbs on your bow any, that’s more the likely what it is.

My new PSE had a thwack sound everytime I shot it after I bought it. Finally figured out a cam screw was loose. Went through and checked every screw and now it's nice and quiet

Not familiar with the new Mathews cam system but the PSEs have sliding modules with set screws. Not a poor design but just have to use blue loctite or wax to keep them from loosening up again

Do you have mole skin or similar under the drop-away arm? They can cause a thunk or click sometimes.

You don't want the string stop putting any more tension on the string at rest than just barely touching it. Adjusting with a business card between them like Slickbilly-d suggests is a good idea. Shouldn't mess with tune.

Actually I do think the velcro helped now that I recorded the shots.

If the QAD has the standard mount...slide it back as far as it will go so the launcher doesn't contact as much of the shelf. Then shoot it and if it removed the noise you know what the issue is.
At that point you will have to move the rest back to the starting point and raise the rest up so it isn't slapping, you will also have to raise your d loop up as well and do a quick retune.

When I Set up QADs and HHAs I install a thin foam rubber pad on the shelf. If the launcher leaves an indentation I know it needs to be raised.

I have always had a little bit more noise with a QAD as well. But I do love the way they operate! I will tinker with some things and see
