We had some real nasty weather roll thru here and most of the midwest this morning and afternoon. Lots of tornadoes around the St. Louis area. Did we all make it thru unscathed? I had some rain and strong winds, but no damage here.

We have freezing rain moving in over the next few hours. Going to make the roads nasty.

It'll make it easier for the drunks to find the ditch. That way they will be out of the way for the rest of us!:lmao:

I live about 10 minutes away from a town that got struck by a tornado and high winds. We didn't get anything but strong winds and a lot of rain but my brother-in-laws grandparents house was pretty much demolished along with a couple other houses and a lot of damage to barns/sheds/houses along Lake Petersburg. As far as I know there aren't any life threatening injuries and only one that came from a tree landing on a car with a lady in it.

We got loooooots of rain. We were under tornado warnings but thankfully nothing came of it.

I was excited that it was warming up and I could go out on the river with the ice out and look for my buck..... but the river has already come up three feet and is supposed to go up by 8 feet in the next couple of days. :(

But no problems with the storms otherwise.

Johno, it looked like some of it was gonna hit hard here to but most of it fizzled out or went north of us. Glad you all got through it ok :)

Are you from the Troy area? My family and I are headed there for a long weekend in a couple of weeks. Our friends live in the Troy area.

I got called into work to file insurance claims until 9pm. We missed the really bad stuff, but lots of roof damage from the high winds and hail. The tornado(s) missed us by 25 miles.

Yes, it is very nice there. I almost moved there 3 years ago for a job with my buddy. My buddy works at the Bradco branch out there. I really like the Mark Twain area. We have been up there boating with them.
