The only thing keeping my sanity while being on this overtime at work and no time to hunt is that 300+ mile trip.
I hear you man I'll be hitting the woods every morning for the next 8 days trying to tag an MD buck before the trip. I am feeling very very confident. The property this buck should up on is a doe property ... He only has one reason to be there. They are gonna be piling in the next couple weeks. I'm pumped!
Good luck Finny! I on the other hand have one decent buck on camera, with zero sightings. This week has cooled down and its kiiiillllliinnnnnggggg me not to be on stand.
This place makes me feel good about myself. I try and explain to others my urge to kill and then I get weird looks, oh well Sent from my RM-845_nam_vzw_100 using Tapatalk
I have Nov 2 through the 10th off of work to hunt at the cabin. Just me and my bow and the woods. No kids. (Hopefully) no dog. No time pressure. Nowhere to be. Just hunt. I've never done a rut hunt like this before. Can't wait.
I'm nearing full on panic mode because nothing has hit the ground yet. Well more so because I've only seen 4 deer in 10 trips and only 2 of those (both small bucks) have been in range.
