Well I usually have a wad of keys in my pocket and my pickup key in the other one and I hate trying to separate a knife from the wad of equipment keys or my truck key, either when I need the knife or need any of the keys. A knife with a pocket clip usually gets in the way of the keys and ends up getting yanked out. I can kind of tolerate my leatherman in it's belt holster but I've gotten to where I hardly ever wear a belt either. You know I really thought when I got this 3blade buck that I'd hate not having a locking blade but it doesn't bother me and I've not had any accidents with it. Somehow, in spite of having countless knives around me all the time, last season I ended up skinning three deer out with this stupid little cheapy buck 3blade. I sharpened it once and it's still holding a nice edge too. More quality in it than I'd expect out of a cheapy China made knife. Like my leatherman titanium...I'm really prone to buying expensive stuff and that just shows it's not always needed at all.
Ah, probably should have taken the OSBI background check out of the pic, no worries mine always comes back clean as a whistle.
Well, to your credit, everything was still blank but it made a hell of a backdrop for a home made razor knife on a leverage compounder ROFL!
I have several but the normal everyday have with me is either a Kershaw or Gerber. Both good knives that don't break the bank. Although my favorite knife is my Outdoor Edge Razor Pro. If I'm using it, it's been a really good day!
Well...knives are weakness for me. I usually avoid the knife section of any store for fear I'll break down and get a new one when I dont need one. I have tons of them. Over time I became convinced that a well built hunk of sharpend steel clipped to my side was a nessecity. It's a tool and a weapon but mostly a tool. Usually my response to the question "you got a knife?" is, "I got my Jean's on, dont I?". So from sod busters to tacticals I love em all. Sent from my SM-G960U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I carry a Case folding hunter. Carried the red one since ‘08 until my wife bought me the green one. I don’t carry the Russ Lock bc it’s kind of a pain to open. The brown one is for formal evens. It isn’t a lock blade and has my name engraved on the blade. It was a groomsman gift
Wow I love all the things in that picture. How'd you do that?! Awesome knives, lantern, zippo, BOURBON (empty but it's made to drink). Very cool. Sent from my SM-G960U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
