Every Day Carry (EDC)

Nice! Love the Mini Griptillian and almost every other Benchmade knife for that matter. I purchased the Triage Auto that I can legally carry come July!

I am going to go out on a limb and say Van may have a stockpile of guns, ammo, and food based on his inventory.

 

Not as much as I would like. Can always have more.

 

In my pockets? Droid Charge and my wallet. Sometimes a stick of burts bees and if im at work my squad FOB. Thats it.

Now my truck? I have enough to live for days in there.

Here is what I carry everyday.

Leather wallet (usually no cash)
Keys
SOG Twitch 2
30 ft. paracord bracelet
Cell phone (getting iPhone this fall)

 

I still wear a watch too. Who else uses watches rather than their cell to tell time?

 

Just the usual stuff....phone, wallet, keys, pocket knife, rubbers, lube, rope, duct tape.....

 

I do! I found it to be a PITA to pull out my cell every time I need to log the time. I have to keep a log at work as well as keep a journal while hunting. That and I still need to know the time when and if my phone is dead...

 

I may be worried about you! You forgot the sky mask, gloves, and cheetos or funions!

Well that was 5 minutes of my life I'll never get back........

 

Cell phone, wallet and a pocket knife. I would hate to carry any more than that. Some of you guys are ready for armageddon. I have a permit but never carry. I have never felt the need. I would not want to live where it seemed a necessity.

 

Exactly what I do! I call it the trinity of crap. If I am missing one of the three I freak out. Usually I am holding one and didn't realize it during my 2 second pat down. You guys with all that stuff must get anxious if you think you're forgetting something.

 

Well I would be lying if I haven't freaked out if I didn't know where something was. It's really not all that much. I never feel like my pants are going to hit the floor. At the same time there defiantly is a "system" to it and requires some self-discipline.

Some of your guy's comments remind me of some of the guys here locally I run around with. I can hear it now...

"Can I borrow your flashlight?"
"Can I borrow your knife?"
"Where is your multi-tool, I need them for X?"

Then again these are the same guys that never have toilet paper on them when they are in the field. SOL! :p

 

Haha I have a few rolls just in case. One in each of my packs and then a back up in the truck. You never know when you might need it.
