I tried it last week and only got the same deer on camera I have already seen. They came in, sniffed the area and left. Never stayed more than 5min. However it did draw them in off the trail. But it wasn't as simple as spray and they come a runnin. It was nearly 24hrs after I sprayed it they showed up. And didn't work as well as apples in the same area. I will keep a mini spray bottle of it in my pack. Sent from my PB99400 using Tapatalk
Same thing, in the areas I sprayed they came in sniffed around and left. They did not eat anything or hang out long.
I do use it as a cover scent when the season comes in , i spray it on scent wicks hanging from the tree i'm in , thats not baiting , It doese not create miracles , and if your only getting the same deer coming into it on camera mabe thats all the deer you have in that general area , just sayin , spray it and the deer come running.....lol..... of coarse they have to be in the area for them to pick up the scent , so if it takes 24 hours or two days the product worked and done its job , here's the thing ya didnt have to spend $20.00 for it to do what all the other gimmics and companys are charging.......lol....and you see it does work , just work with it and give it time like everything else , hmmm lets see would i rather spend $1.00 for 16oz or $20.00 thats for you to decide , and add it up over the season , i know it works for me . believe me i ain't on no vanilla extract pro staff.....lol....i just know the sh!t does work when used properly my freezer for the last few years proved it .
before season use the vanilla to lure them into the pile of corn , feeder or ect. if you spray it and there nothing there for them ofcoarse there not going to hang around
Oh ok my bad I was thinking they would want to eat the vegitation it was sprayed on, baiting is illigal here so the corn thing is a no go. It's obvious to me that the smell of vanilla in an area does attract them to that spot even if only for a little bit.
