If you like mouth calls, look up cramers custom calls or Ted Cramer on Facebook. He builds great calls and really tries to help any way he can to get you set up. I suck with mouth calls because I have a small pallet and teeth are kind of crooked but he has tried to build several special ones for me to try over the last couple of years.

Well hunt got cut short today, farmer showed up and started planting, packed up to get out of his way so he can work. Will be back out the 25-28 with a buddy toting a shotgun and me my bow.... Hope the turkeys make their way back to my lease....

Tell that farmer to wait. Sheesh
We got right under the roost this AM. 3 longbeards 1 jake and 9 hens pitched down into our dekes. Before we could get a shot off one of the hens saw something she didn't like and pulled the birds out of range. Had two more jakes just make a sneak attack on us and walked right by behind us lol stupid turkeys.

Tim I have three in town hunting with me right now. One buddy and his son are hunting my land and having some luck. Shot a nice gobbler this morning actually. I have been hunting some public with my other friend. MAN THOSE PUBLIC BIRDS ARE A DIFFERENT ANIMAL!!!!! They are hanging in groups and couldn't call em, dekes were pretty useless, aggravating. We were covered up in birds just couldn't seal the deal. Had to hit the office this morning for a bit, then I will be back after em on my land.....

Well it looks like I will be going old school for tomorrow's opener! My bow is still in the shop waiting for warranty work so we will see how I do with my old Bear Polar LTD. She still flings the arrows pretty good @ 20 yards! Hopefully I can put one down!

I love bringing out the old vintage stuff. it is amazing how good some of the old bows shoot with new technology on them.
