Great!!! So far I haven't seen one turkey... Sure hope they are back in time for turkey season!

 

due to all the snow, I have just started to see birds the last few weeks. and where you are from you get more snow then we do. heck you probably still have 16" on the ground. all the rain coming this week will help a lot. all the birds I seen were out in fields where the snow is melted off.

Just a friendly reminder, don't forget to treat your clothes/packs for ticks. I use sawyers permethrin spray, has worked well the last couple of years I've used it. Only found a few ticks crawling on me and none attached...

Hey just a heads up guys I can't say enough good things about trophy ridge sights!! They are good quality and the customer service is great! I broke a sight pin while adjusting it and a quick call to there customer service and I have a new one being shipped to me for no charge! That's what I call customer service!

 

never had a tick on me either. must be the part of the country joseph and I are from. any ticks that made it through the winter in the northeast will be indestructible.

I just got the trophy ridge react 5 last fall and can't believe the pin brightness even without the light on. so far it is the best sight I've owned to date.

wish I was heading to the blind, but instead I get to sit home watch it rain and listen to my 7 month old daughter cry and drive me nuts!!! lol

 

I take it you got out today TJ? How'd it go? I've seen your videos from past I know you got birds down there.

 

Finally found some birds today!! Didn't get a good look but I think there was at least one gobbler with em... Ready to rock an roll!!

 

Ya i got out and will be out again this afternoon. Had a few birds around last night one shooter but I couldnt get him in Bullhead range. Tonight if he plays that game while my son is with me he will be sorry.

I just got back from shed hunting. and wouldn't you know I heard a bird gobbling like a fool at 3:30 at one of my other good spots. now I'm starting to get interested to hit it hard this season.
