    OUCH!! :rant: Yes I have, Problem was my finger was up inside of gill plate of a yellow belly catfish stuck on hook. My Brother inlaw and Father inlaw had to cut its head off to get my finger out and they were laughing :bash:

    Last month while cleaning out the boat I got a 4/0 spinnerbait hook in my finger..It cost me 1100 dollars to have taken out..

    While fishing with a friend last year he was hooked..He removed his own hook by wrapping the fising line around the shank of the hook until it was the same thickness of the barb..and then pushed the hook right out..my hook was very big and I didn't have the guts..

    That is quite a hook he has stuck in his hand! Ouch!

    Had to remove a hook from a client's hand on the water this past Saturday. It was buried to the bend of the hook. This technique works great. Unfortunately, I've had to practice this on myself in the past. Those experiences paid off though! It also resulted in a pretty good tip. ;)
