Well some of you may have seen my idea for a european display a few weeks ago. Today I built a base and added some habitat. I will probably chnage the habitat up sometime down the road, as it bores me some right now. But it works for the time being.
Thanks everyone for the nice comments! It was a fun build, and I figure I can get one more buck on it comfortably, as long as it's not big enough for a shoulder mount BowtechHunting.. I just recently got into treestanding for whitetail. Archery elk was always my big deal. The top buck is my first bowkill buck from last year, the second one was a gun kill a few years ago (so I guess that technically doesn't count for anything) and the one in the habitat is a dead buck found this year.
Very creative. It's great to see hunters take time to turn their hunt into a memorable timepiece to enjoy for years to come.
Can I suggest some rusty barbed wire on the post as well?? Just thinkin' out loud. Really cool lookin.
thats a sweet mount. I was tryin to think of some ideas for the bucks me and my dad shot this fall also. Just finishing up with the euros now we'll have to figure somethin out with the presentation.
