I'm finally getting my euro mount back from my taxidermist today. My brother is pickin it up for me so I don't have it yet but e sent me this picture. I'm making a better plaque for it soon but this one doesn't look too bad for now. Helps get me more excited for this season.

    Thanks everyone

At first I wasn't a big fan of this style of mount, but a family friend who is a taxidermist did this one for me for free as it was my first deer. After looking at some mount ideas for it I started becoming a big fan of them. I can't want to hang it up in my home office.

JayB--great looking mount. Every time I look at that pic of your buck I just marvel how thick he looks. How much did that buck weigh?

Thanks VS. I never weighed him in the field so I'm not sure. He was around 125lbs at the butcher if that helps any.

    Thanks everyone.

I finally got to put a tape on him and he measured to be 109 3/8 gross and 107 5/8 net. I guessed him at 110 so I did not bad. I'm pretty happy with him as my first. Hopefully my next will be mature enough to make P&Y.
