Not sure, I haven't tried to fish in Bass Pro;)

I have 2 buck tags to burn, just not sure where they will burn.

I've got no problem with it if done legally...I imagine I'd pass though...I enjoy using tags on my own hunting spots too much.

I killed those leaves dead. I even have video to prove it. I'm not ashamed of misses, hell I'll miss again in the future. But to answer your other question, nothing at all but that doesn't change the ease.

I'm not knocking your properties, I wish I had it so easy. I'd love to be over run with deer with as many tags as you get. Hell I saw over 70 some in two nights the first time down there but wasn't allowed to shoot does or these stats would be different. I've missed 1, yup 1 deer in NC....oh the horror, oh and that turkey but I loved every minute of it. Again, missing two animals won't be my last nor my first miss with a bow.

And, other than one shot I did take on NC deer, hell Jeffy, I didn't place myself so is it my fault I didn't get one or yours? Hell I don't know, I'm just not always lucky. :D

I still wish I had as many deer as you get to hunt, I saw it first hand and Matt / PA said to me on our way home, "dude, do you realize how many deer you and I would kill if we lived here?". Unquote. You got it good. No doubt.

Yeah, I'm heart broken over the sticky. Nice try Jeffy. Dig deeper.

One time at High Fence camp I was presented a dilemma and it ended up causing a forum war.

I honestly would not do it

Thats the reason i dont "bait" here in Ohio, even though its legal.....It takes MOST of the challenge out of it. Just like the mentioned "hand fed" deer.

    Reminds of high school.

    Sad.

You two need to resort to PM's...or since you have become so aquinted with each other over the years...duke it out in person :D

    Just a suggestion ;)

Back to the task at hand.......

I'd go and stack them up. Bucks, does, buttons, whatever walked by me. I'm a hunter, its what I do. Sometimes with all the ethics/warm fuzzy feeling BS that gets slung around hunting forums, we tend to forget that ALL we are doing is attempting to kill animals with sharp sticks. I love to hunt deer and I love to shoot deer, I'm failing to see the problem??

I'm not knocking your properties, I wish I had it so easy.

You kill me....lol. How many deer have you killed in this "easy" place to hunt? I missed that.

Seriously? Hell Jeff, I' think I'm the ONLY one that hasn't killed a deer there, that still doesn't change the fact how good you have it. Your saying you don't? You bragged about that for years now all of a sudden it's hard? Ok, you win, you have the most difficult deer in the country and by God you must be the very, very best cause your getting it done with traditional gear. Your the bomb!

I'd love to be over run with deer with as many tags as you get. Hell I saw over 70 some in two nights the first time down there but wasn't allowed to shoot does or these stats would be different.

How many bucks did you see? How many did you kill? Am I missing something? Easy????

That first year, 13 comes to mind and I never mentioned bucks.

I've missed 1, yup 1 deer in NC....oh the horror

How many have you shot at? Wouldn't that be 1? I thought it was "easy"?????

    seriously?

, oh and that turkey but I loved every minute of it. Again, missing two animals won't be my last nor my first miss with a bow.

1st time I've heard any honesty in this regards....."world-class".

I have been anything but 100 % honest, I have nothing to lie about. NC hunting was awesome, you have it good, again, I wish I had it so good.

And, other than one shot I did take on NC deer, hell Jeffy, I didn't place myself so is it my fault I didn't get one or yours? Hell I don't know, I'm just not always lucky. :D

How many did you say you saw here, again? I'm sorry I didn't put you on 100. who could ever be expected to shoot one .....when you only see SEVENTY! (and how many of those were the same deer?)

Many were the same, Hell I said to you I stopped counting and seventy something. Damn sure wish does would have been allowed in that spot. Deer everywhere that night, everywhere. Amazing.

I still wish I had as many deer as you get to hunt, I saw it first hand and Matt / PA said to me on our way home, "dude, do you realize how many deer you and I would kill if we lived here?".

    I'm guessing you're gonna tell me....."More than Jeff"......lol.

Prolly not more, just a pile that's for sure and I don't recall either one of us saying more, except if you quit and we didn't.

Unquote. You got it good. No doubt.

Rob...You hunt in a manner that would bore me to tears. Drudgingly walking to the same 2 stands.....day after day....sitting over a food plot that you can reach any part of from stand.....just ain't my idea of "hunting". Not for me to judge what makes you happy, though.

But you sure tried didn't you.

If that was an attempt at an insult, it failed miserably and seriously you want to attempt that Jeff. How sad. How many spots did you hunt when you were here? 3 different spots right, how many deer did you see? I recall only 2 bucks and your biggest to date right? In range? I see a 1/10th the deer you see but I get it done and I'm happy with the way I hunt. Very happy. I didn't take my Halloween buck over my food plot, which by the way is 80 yards across, your that good? Dig deeper and show your true colors Jeff. My one stand is 200 yards away from my food plot, oooohhhhh the horror. 20 years of hunting that woods puts stand where they produce. I don't have to bounce around day after day after day. That would bore me to death but kudos you enjoy it. Been there, did that, overrated. I have 6 weeks, how long you have? Again, you have it easy (doe), nothing wrong with that.

The does inside the fence....I would have a problem doing.

But the buck FREE RANGING outside is fair game to me. I fail to see how getting on that deer is any different than me trying to pin down a buck coming to a bean field in the early season. Just my opinion.

One thing we need to ask ourselves though,

Would we be happier with hired sharpshooters doing what we could do as bowhunters?

Doesn't mean we have to take "pride" in it but we would be doing what is asked of us and that's being conversationalists.

    Jeff,

This past Friday my daughter score two goals during her soccer game. After the game she came to me crying. I asked her, "Monkey, why are you crying". She said, "They told me I wasn't good enough to score goals". I replied, "Dani, what was the score of your game?" She answered, "3 to 2". And then I asked, "who scored the goals?" Wiping her eyes she said. "I scored two". Bingo...Nuff said. I loaded her into the truck and drove away. I noticed a little smile in my rear view mirror.

Sometimes life's little lessons aren't so obvious and our feelings are extremely vulnerable. Who can bump you from your path when it's in your your heart? Answer the same question but now apply "when it's in your head". Yep, the grass is always greener-so they say. But we both know Heaven and Hell comes in many forms...Follow your heart!

As a boy and when we fought, my mother had my brother and I hug each other in front of the oven timer for an hour. Sharing brews would have solved the problem a lot faster...I hate seeing two brothers fighting. Don't make me go there!

    Race,

There's a time and a place for everything. This is an opportunity to help a lady with a problem. Who knows, down the road she may vote for you rather than against you. To me, it's worth the effort. Sometimes a MAN has to do what a MAN has to do. Nuff said.

    So...

Race is going to shoot penned deer. (cheater :D)
Jeffs deer hunting is harder than hell.
Shooting fish in a barrel type analogies are only good one way.
Rob only hunts from 1 stand, no matter what.
    PA hunting is boring.
Buckeye agrees with me that the someone else will excuse is laughable.
MEANWHILE....A near 200" buck is roaming an urban area waiting to be popped while you guys complain, give me the lady's number and I'd GLADLY help her.

    Did I miss something?
