Does anyone know of a good way to estimate a hogs weight judging by its height? I have killed several hogs but none seemed to spectacular so I never weighed any of them. Now I have two boars that seem pretty large coming in to my area at different times during the night, I have figured out by using landmarks that both of them are right a waist level to me which is about 38 inches high at the top of the back. I'm trying to figure out roughly what they weigh.

I don't really know, but that would be a few pork chops ;)

I just compared them to pictures of a couple 300 pounders my uncle has trapped, the two pigs I have pics of are a bit taller but not as "filled out" looking at the bone fide 300 pounders. I'm going to guess mine are between 250-300, if one shows up in daylight for me I'll find out if I'm right.
