Ok so I used to think it was neat that more bear were showing up in Virginia. Until recently. You can not bait deer in Virginia during hunting season. But once its legal I start putting out feeders with corn and alfalfa pellets to tide them over till the green up and then to get inventory pictures. For the last few years bears destroyed my feeders about once a year. This year they have hit them 3 different times already. I'm gonna have to resort to hanging feeders I guess.. Ok enough belly aching.

Love bears,I do, but so far my total that I have replaced is about $200.00. Popped one feeder like a watermelon. Destroyed two motors and timers on other.

Starting to get thick in east Ky too. They tore up 2 feeders at a place I hunt last year.

Have killed my feeders, I'm back to just pouring it on the ground periodically...which is a pain.

Yeah can't pour it on ground want to limit what is available. Helps keep deer from over eating if that makes sense
