I shoot a high country single cam bow, with a 28 inch draw length, set at 68lbs. I recently took my bow in and had them put new string, cables and peep sight. Took it home and started shooting and my sights were off. Got it sighted in and was shooting good groups around 30 yards with aluminum arrows. Went and bought a set of new carbon arrows 6075 shaft whitetail, gander mountain brand. They cut the arrows at 27.5. I was using 100 grain practice tips on the aluminum arrows, so i put them on the carbon arrows and they don't shoot as well. I also tried a 80 grain broadhead seems to be better. I figured out the foc with the arrow with the 100 grain practice tip and it was 12.72%. With a 80 grain broadhead it was 10%. The arrows weigh 9.7 grains per inch. Is the erratic arrow flight from having to heavy of a tip? Or is something wrong with the tune-up they gave my bow? What grain should I use in these arrows? Also the arrows have about three inch plastic veins instead of feathers. Thanks for any help in advance.
