I was out shooting last night and noticed one of my arrows was flying straight out to about 15 yards then it would drop and go left. I was hitting about 6 inches low and to the left at 20 yards or so. I pulled the arrow out of the target and did a spin test, the arrow is perfectly straight, inspected the Muzzy MX 4 broad head and noticed that two blades are slightly bent. I stuck a different MX4 broad head on and it was shooting perfectly straight. I didnt think that bent blades would cause such erradic flight, does anyone else know????
Well I'm not as knowledgable as these tech finatics on here but it would make sense to me especially on how fast today's bows are shooting. At least it was just a simple bent blade rather than having to tune your bow.
Im glad it was nothing more than that as well. Just not sure how the blades got bent because they werent when I put them on and practiced with them.
Nope wind was at my back when i was shooting........all my other broadheads are hitting their mark perfectly......hey wait i resemble that remark....loose nut...........you quack me up!!!
Sounds like the same thing that Peakrut had over the summer!! You didn't hit the target frame at all did you?
I guess if you look at one of those Crimson Talons, they have six bent blades, but if a couple of those were bent the wrong way I'm sure it would throw it off. Glad to hear that's all it is, rather than trying to adjust your bow.
They must have talking to him or cornered him because all activity has seemed to have changed this year. Weve been seeing more deer on our side of the river this year and the other doofus who was killing deer for everyone and their uncle with a crossbow hasnt been seen behind our property yet this year, rummor has it he was busted for having over limit fish and deer with no tags, so I dont know for sure.
