Awe Doug, he knows me already.......:D That NW Pa guy almost ended up down in OH shooting if we weren't so mucked up, it's ridiculous. Out at our local range they got 4" of rain yesterday on top of too much already, and some more today. My yard is more like a BOG than a lawn right now......Never thought I'd need hip waders to get the mail.....

Now what would a group of fellas who live in that part of the country know about being a redneck? Down here in the new swamplands of Tennessee is where the real rednecks are.:D

    Those elk burgers were awesome.

I don't have Pronghorn hamburger but I have a pile of perfectly packaged venison hamburger that will be brought!

Grind a couple strips of bacon into it when you make it and it's really good, but deer burger alone is just a bit too dry for me most of the time. I'll have along some trail bologna and jerky, been eyeing a couple recipes on how to make Venison brats that are interesting to me, I may have to try a couple of them and see what I like better.

If nothing else we eat well. Not to mention a few guys like a beer or 10 while BS'ing around the fire. Doug(OH) won't be allowed to mess with the fire this year....:D
Buckeye either if he shows up. PT..... well who knows you started this whole ordeal and even this thread and again your MIA ;)

    Rob,
Your Wife's gonna be there too????? :lmao: No worries here, I ain't afraid of no stinkin' bear.....:D

I surely wish I could have been the "guy" bringing elk burgers to this shindig, but as fate would have it, my luck elk hunting hasn't been "good" by any means up to date.... I'll certainly have along a couple logs of trail bologna the regular and the Jalapeno Cheddar, but sadly no elk as I would have wished for.......

Well, they can always do what the local PA children do and drink and committ incest :)
    OH SNAP!!!

Glad to get on here, although it is only for a second. My schedule sucks right now. Germo... I'll hook up with Doug so you and the fam won't be crammed in the truck with a guy who can have gas bad enough to knock a buzzard off a crap wagon. ;) I'll bring my tent too.

We have room for you, no need for the tent, but leave your OSU blanket at home!!! You can still ride with us if you like.

I'll have space in the truck, no doubt, as far as that goes, and I'm prolly gonna bring my decent tent that I got after I took last year's pancake tent back....

Hell, Gary, if you don't like OSU you can kiss my .....truck's tailpipe....:D

    Hey fellas.. What's new? Ain't been around in a while...BUT THAT"S A GOOD THING!

Started a new job things are going great. Cept some long hours getting settled in.

They also gave me 3 weeks vacation and 5 personal days. For the remainder of 2010.

So things are looking good for the GTG. The only thing lacking is my shooting skills, haven't shot an arrow at foam all year...in fact haven't shot a bow since my indoor season ended in early March. But never-the-less, I still plan on coming!
