Maybe I will do some scouting today and see if we kind find something to hunt that's big enough to make you happy....haha. On a serious note we only have pics of a couple deer that are 140 or bigger. EHD hit us hard on our old mature deer. But Im glad that you liked the show COVEY.
Clinton & Frankie, I have to say that was out standing. Not to beat it to death but to see Frankie that shook up I thought he might actually hug you Clinton That hunt recharged my batteries to get off my butt and get back out there. Great job Guys

Actually the deer that I killed wasnt Cal Ripken. We should of done a better job of explaining that during the hunt. The deer that we killed I have know history with nor have we ever seen him before. I just assumed that it was him when I saw that the deer had shooter size antlers. I call him Cal Ripken because he has almost been a guarantee every time we hunt around that bedding area the last two years. Frank passed him twice last year. I decided we were going to try and hunt him this year. We have seen him four different times and I have tons of daylight pics of him but for some reason I cant get him killed. The one deer that I thought would be a guarantee is really starting to get under my skin. Heres a pic of the real Cal Ripken.
