Was a really good episode. I was surprised to see Chase get a doe. Usually they mention who shoots what in the description.

    BTW great shot Chase!

Great Episode. Chad did really well for his first hunt. He was So Excited! Good job Chase on bagging the doe.

I enjoyed it, like always. Congrats guys on your deer! Really cool seeing Chad and his wife filming and hunting. I got a kick out of seeing her walking back from getting her harness and she stopped and it looked like she was telling him not to record her.

Thanks for the response! Glad to hear you hit a rib, I was worried for a second that either one of two things occurred (if it wasn't a bone impact)...you were pulling a weight of nancy :dan: haha! or the broadhead didn't work properly. Again keep up the awesome job just giving us a brief hunt set up, goes along way for interest for the viewers!!!

Great job goes out to Chad and Chase, on some awesome whitetails! Also to Chad's wife Melissa on the super filming job! I'm happy to have this couple as part of our team! BHOD baby!

I think worth mentioning too is something Justin said.

Somebody in the industry probably has quite a bit of pressure on them to perform and make great videos.

Knowing that, Justin made a comment on how many mature bucks he saw the entire year last year hunting. Someone in his position might have a reason for not telling it how it is or maybe just leaving stuff out. What he said I think should help new hunters and struggling older hunters alike. He should be commended on such a statement.

True to an extent but IMO the majority of pressure comes from yourself. We've tried to make BHOD more about our team than about Todd or myself personally. We just happen to be the guys that run things here at the office so we get to be the "hosts", but that doesn't mean that the show is totally about us. With a great group of guys (and a few gals) out there filming there's a lot less pressure on us since we know if we have an off year someone else will pick up the slack as Dean and Chad have done so well this early season.

Now this I agree with 100%. We always try to stress that we're just normal guys with normal jobs who hunt like everyone else. I don't do anything different today or hunt any different types of properties than I did 10 years ago before I ever picked up a camera. Sometimes my season is great and sometimes it sucks. That's just how hunting goes!

Heck, it's October 1st and I'm sitting at my desk drinking a coffee and checking my morning e-mails. If I was a legit "pro" I'd be in a stand somewhere! :D

This make me sad. Oh how I wish I could be in a tree right now. :( President Bush changed daylight savings, do you think it would fly if we proposed a bill to chang the calendar each yr to ensure that Oct 1 fell on a Saturday every year!?
