I was having the same thought this morning. "I wonder if Todd waits to post the new episode because he likes to torture us" <--this was my actual thought. LOL
Ahhh.... much better. Great show guys! Chad, awesome hunt buddy. Love seeing the whole family out there Chase, good job on that doe. Can't believe you didn't find more blood.
You're an impatient lot! We get the episodes up as quick as possible, trust me. Brando is usually here editing and rendering the final video until 10 or so on Thursday nights. He's back in at 8 to finish encoding, uploading, creating cover image, description, etc before it gets published. It's a lot of work! Anyways, Chad and Melissa's hunt was awesome. Great footage, great on camera presence and a great way to kick things off. Now the rest of us need to perform or the rookie is going to make us all look bad!
Question for Chad...did his shot impact on opposite side rib? I was surprised if rib contact was made on impact and attempted exit to not get a passthrough at that location of impact. Great hunt, love Chad on screen. Sets up the hunt great, honest reaction for sure!
Thanks for your hard work Brando. I'm sure you get paid for it, but we appreciate the extra time all the same.
Good episode. When he first shot I thought; "That's not the same deer." Then when he found it he pointed out that it wasn't lol.
I thought it was a great show and hunt for Chad and his wife! She's definitely a keeper. Any woman willing to take time out of their day to film their man's hunt gets a thumbs up in my book. It's also great to know that there are big bucks traveling in the daylight, especially too dandys on the same hunt. Great job to everyone who helped put this episode together!
I agree. After the shot, I thought man he smoked her. I am guessing she didn't make it far, but I know how it feels to make a good shot and find no blood. (A little unnerving )
After I found her and field dressed her it was a double lung shot. She only went 50 yards and dropped. It always pays to watch which direction they run after you shoot them.
First off thank for compliments. Yes the broad head impacted the opposite side ribs and came through about 1/4 inch. I got liver, part of one lung and the back half of the right side lung. Thanks again!
