Epic Stealth Cam www.EpicStealthCam.com Similar to the Drift HD170 Stealth but pack with better features the Epic Stealth may not be quite as known as some other cameras of similar function but, the Epic Stealth Cam does deserve a look if you are in the market for this type of camera this year. The camera shoots only 720p (1280 x 720) at 30 frames per second but, has two lower settings that include D1 720 x 480 pixel (wide) and VGA 640 x 480 pixel. You can also take still pictures at 8, 5, 1.3 Megapixels and a cool feature that allows you to take a photo burst at 1 – 9 photos per second. Sound is captured via a internal microphone and it is hard to miss what you are aiming at with a lens that allows for 168 degrees of sight. A 10 second self timer allows you to include yourself in pictures and video. You can even adjust the amount of digital zoom with settings that go up to 1x 2x or 4x for both video and photos. With 32MB of internal flash memory built in and the capability to support and addition 32 GB of SD memory. The camera comes with 3 AAA batteries but I suggest using either rechargeable or lithium batteries. AV output of the Epic Stealth HD action camera comes from a USB port to your PC additional Mac support is unavailable. If you want to hook up to your TV you will need to purchase your own mini usb to RCA jack cable. You can purchase the Epic Video Previewer separately, allowing you to view your video prior to downloading or when you are out in the field. The viewer comes with a 80” coiled cord, 2” colored display with backlight, adjustable brightness/contrast push button and a built in mini av 2.5 mm jack. There is quite a few mounts to choose from and the adhesive mount, elbow and clip mount were included. The additional ones that can be purchased separately are the waterproof casing good to 20 feet deep, strap mount, suction cup mount , tree screw mount (good for hunters), and the bar mount for ATV’s, motorcycles and bicycles.
