Anyone ever use one of these to film hunts? It has everything that would be needed. Screw in Tree Mount, baseball cap mount, audio, weatherproof, small size, etc. I just wonder how the video quality would be especially in low light. I'm not looking to win the Campbell challenge or anything, I just want something that is convenient and takes video you can see reasonably well. I don't want something that forces me to lug a large expensive camcorder and tree arm along to film my own hunts. Any other suggestions are appreciated. http://www.gandermountain.com/modpe..._Video_Camera_Kit&str=sports+cam&merchID=4005
I think it would be good for a second angle of the hunter in the tree, but as a camera to catch something twenty yards out...I don't think you'll be getting the type of video you want without some type of zoom feature...I imagine even at twenty yards the deer would look pretty distant with that camera.
been looking at this site http://vholdr.com/ Got some interesting products, but sounds like they don't do so well in low light situations.......
I saw a pair of glasses at the Wisconsin Deer and Turkey Expo that had a built in camera. It came with different lenses too. Seemed to work OK. and cost roughly 160
They have come out with the Epic HD. Seen it at the ATA show and it looked like the picture was good. I will be getting one for a second view...
