Have seen and read about them, wondering your thoughts. I know Justin uses one and likes it. I'm interested in the instant on but can't seem to find any pricing info on those. To new??

    Thanks all

I can't say I user used an Epic. I would suggest you hit up the POV websites to figure out which one you like best.

I use the Drift HD Camera. It's smaller, always has had an instant on. It not a IR remote so you don't need direct line of sight. One of the biggest pain points you will find from POV users it the wide angle lens really isn't good for filming anything past 10 yards in hunting conditions. . My Drift HD has a 4x zoom. Although it’s not optical, it’s a great feature.

You will be hooked once you see all the different footage on their website!

I do understand they are more expensive. Just as with most electronics, you get what you pay for!

Oh and filming in HD at 60 FPS is also a kick a$$ feature. You can get hella cool slow motion.

Thanks Heckler. Kid wants to get into the filming thing in a bad way so thought we could buy a single camera and pass it back and forth for a bit to see if it's something we want to pursue. Have taken some pics from the stand with my phone and friends/family can't believe we can get that close to numerous deer/turkeys/coons/etc. A short film would be a great way to show them what it's all about.

    Ready for Turkeys yet??

Im waiting to get my Epic HD cam with all the fixings. Waterproof housing and all the mounting options are nice! Have played with a Go Pro before but I am excited to try this Epic!
