There are lots of good deals on Hoyt Bows right now. I bought the 2013 Spyder 30 in my signature New in the Bow for $460 shipped. Also bought my son a 2014 Hoyt Faktor 30 New in the Bow for $475 shipped. Both are very good Hunting Bows...smooth, fast with a good valley.

I bet if you drove to Lancaster they probably would take the crossbow in as a trade in and then you could get a better bow. Call them. Doesn't hurt to ask.

The big box stores have their line of bows Cabelas, Bass Pro. There bows are Diamond Bowtech. Most on sale this time of year and or you might find something in the bargain cave.

ended up getting a bear. The Diamond was not comfortable in my hands. Very happy with the purchase. I was able to upgrade the rest. Thank again for the support.

Nothing wrong with Bear. I got a Bear Attitude 2 years ago and it will shoot with the best of them. Money was not an issue in the selection and I was retiring a Martin bow I had been using since "91". I just could not see spending a grand on a bow to impress someone when the deer could care less. Getting what works for you is most important and why spend so much more for a bow when you could use that coin to go hunting. And LORD forbid when that bow drops 20 feet and lands on rocks you will not be out $700.00 more.
