Hello i have a question. The wind tomorrow is a west wind for me to have wind in face i have to cross possible feeding area. I can climb the ridge and stay out of the area but it will be much louder and my wind will be blowing out to feeding area. What route would you take? Or should i come in a little late When i can see so i don't bump deer? I have to get to this stand tomorrow are rut is gonna break in the next day or 2 and this is were i want to be. Thanks

I always get to my stands in the darkness, its the best cover! Don't worry about spooking a couple on your way in, deer will be moving, its the rut!

Ok thank you.. I do practice scent control but who knows if it really works.. I will enter with good wind and hope they aren't in the corn field. There is still acorns on the ground. So they will probably be the acorns..

if it were me and i knew where they were bedding id come in the back and get between the corn and the bedding. any movement by that corn field will bust them.. chances are your gonna see a buck following a doe into the bedding.. good luck
