I decided to drop down to a 60 lb. bow this year. I have always shot a 70 lb. but 60 really felt comfortable at the shop when I made my final decision. Will my 2" Rage 2 blades still be ethical to use or should I look into a low poundage type of mechanical?

    What does your arrow weigh?

Can't remember off the top of my head but they're on the heavy side. Roughly 5 grains per inch.

I will always recommend that if you want to use any mechanical you want a heavier arrow. Over 400 grains over 450 even better. Not for every bow but 60 pounds is more than enough to push a rage thru.

x2 ^^^^^ This. I have a buddy shoots 60 lbs and uses rage without any issues.

I have used a variety of Rage broad heads since they came out. I draw at 63 pounds with a 400 grain arrow and the blades fully deploy and get plenty of penetration.

I was just going to say that. I don't even know any arrows that are that light unless maybe there are some 3-D arrows. Definitely get your arrows weighed. My friend shoots the Rage Extreme (2.3") and shoots 60lb and always gets complete passthroughs. His arrows weigh right around 400 grains if I remember correctly.
